ABOUT ME
I’m Steve Dow
I am a classically trained photographer who actively “bends the rules” by pushing, prodding and manipulating pixels to create my art work. As I begin to create an art piece, I always begin by applying the principals of light and shadow to bring a true representation of what I see. Balancing my images to bring the mood, ambiance, texture and colors is what drives me to produce the images you see here.
I have 20 years experience behind the lens photographing people, wildlife and my surroundings with a desire to capture the appropriate gesture that conveys being in that moment. I use Nikon equipment exclusively and enjoy membership in the Nikon Professional Services organization as well as being a member in good standing with the Professional Photographers Association.
